ABOUT

Hope Community Services was founded as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2016 by Executive Director Jóncquil Hope. The organization was formed with one objective, to assist those in need. Hope Community Services proudly serves the Mahoning Valley area in Northeast Ohio.

We connect families to local resources for everyday needs, education, and nutrition while empowering families to be self-sustaining.

Mission
The mission of Hope Community Services is to enhance the lives of youth and families by providing assistance for their success.
Past Projects
Baby Box Program - We distributed 75 baby boxes to new and expectant parents to combat infant mortality.

Heart Healthy Eats for the Valley - We hosted healthy cooking demonstrations as part of Minority Health Month.

Urban Community CPR - We provided CPR and First Aid Certification classes and engaged local youth in hands-only CPR training.
​
Youngstown Juneteenth - In partnership with the Youngstown Creative Collective (YCC), we cultivate cultural events to celebrate Juneteenth and educate community members.
